Cobbles & Rip Rap (Overview)
Base materials provide fill, compaction, and stabilization applications in road and highway construction. Cobbles and rip rap serve residential/commercial landscaping, slope stabilization, and erosion control near roads, highways, lakes, and beaches.
Rip Rap & Cobbles (Detailed)
Rip rap functions as a top layer of loose, angular stone used to resist erosion, particularly for riverbanks and stream stabilization. Installation thickness should be twice as thick as the largest rock size.
